Amajita warm up for Youth Championships

The Under-20 squad have gathered in Johannesburg for a week-long training camp and will be engaged in an international friendly game against neighbours, Botswana on Sunday, in Mafikeng.

According to Amajita manager Winston Marumo, South Africa will face Mozambique in qualifying games before joining Gabon, Botswana and Namibia in the group stages.

“The game against Botswana will help us a lot in terms of getting the team ready for our first game against Mozambique in the African Youth Championship qualifying game set for the last week of June.

“The team is already in camp and we are using Milpark as our camping base in preparation for the game against Botswana on Sunday.”
