First up AmaKhosi will welcome old Soweto rivals Moroka Swallows to the Absa Stadium in a mid-week duel on November 7.

Seven days later Chiefs will again play host to Mamelodi Sundowns at the same venue in another mid-week tie that is guaranteed to produce thrills.

The biggest encounter on the domestic league calendar then falls on November 24 with the staging of the Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates, however Chiefs will be playing ‘away’ on the day.

The Soweto Derby, traditionally played in Johannesburg, was initially scheduled for Ellis Park but was later moved to Durban following an arrangement with KwaZulu Natal government authorities.

The match will be played the day before the draw in Durban of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

Then, early in December, Mushin Ertugral’s side again takes to the field at the Absa Stadium against AmaZulu in another away fixture.

There remains a possibility that Chiefs could also play yet another match at Absa Stadium during November depending on their progress and the outcome of the semi-final draw in the Telkom KnockOut Cup.
