Amakhosi to play in Dubai

The Amakhosi are looking forward to use the long break, due to the African Cup of Nations in Ghana, to keep themselves busy by playing international friendly games and marketing their brand abroad.

Club manager Bobby Motaung has confirmed that his team is set to visit Dubai during the PSL break but said details about the trip will be released on the club’s website in due course.

“We will be meeting as management today (Tuesday) to discuss the matter and finalise other details concerning the trip abroad.”

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs’ coach Muhsin Ertugral has refuted reports in weekend newspapers that midfielder, Emmanuel ‘Scara’ Ngobese has been recalled into the first team.

“I am now sick and tired about people asking me about Scara Ngobese and Gert Schalkwyk. Those players are not back with the team and were only part of physical training of which is normal routine as they are still regarded as Kaizer Chiefs’ players,” he added.
