AmaZulu 'disappointed' by Potch venue

accreditation

Usuthu PRO Philani Mabaso believes that Usuthu have been ‘let down’ by the PSL in taking the game outside Kwazulu Natal because the Nedbank Cup draw had allowed them to enjoy a home-ground advantage.

“We also proposed playing in the Free State, at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium, but our request was turned down.

“However, we have now decided not to involve ourselves in the game’s politics and accept the unfairness by honouring the game in Potchefstroom.

“Our team is in form and we believe if we argue over the venue it will affect our focus on winning the tournament.

“We will just look at this match as a normal away fixture and go about doing our business on the field.

“Our ambition is to bring the Nedbank Cup to Kwazulu Natal and to do that, we must first beat Sundowns in the semi finals,” Mabaso adds.
