Bianchi oversaw a 2-0 defeat to Mozambique in his first assignment last week.

The Brazilian has been tasked with improving the Palanca Negras's FIFA world ranking, which sits at 147th following 10 straight matches without a win.

"The task that I've been given is to improve Angola's position in the FIFA ranking, which is currently sitting 147th in the rankings," said Bianchi through a translator.

"As we saw, with the intensity the Angolan team played against Bafana Bafana, they are on the right track.

"Obviously a fairly new team and a new coach as well, tactically there need to be some adjustments. They need to get used to each other.

"Although it was friendly it was a very intense friendly and the whole exercise of coming to South Africa was to uplift the morale and put in a good performance for Angola."

The 50-year-old added: "Being a new coach and dealing with new players in the very short space of time that we had to prepare, tactical side of it which we have been working on for the last two days, I was quite happy with what I saw.

"But obviously there's room for improvement and I'm happy with the intensity of the game and the stiff challenge that Bafana actually gave us."
