Ghana FA request Bafana Bafana AFCON qualifier to be moved to neutral venue

According to reports in Ghana, the Black Stars have raised fears over their scheduled trip to South Africa to face Bafana in their penultimate Group C 2022 AFCON qualifier on 21 March 2021.

This follows a similar request by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, who have refused Kaizer Chiefs entry into their country for a CAF Champions League Group C fixture against Wydad Athletic Club, which was scheduled for Saturday evening.

"The Ghana Football Association has written to CAF requesting for a change in venue for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications fixture against South Africa," reported
