SABC clarify Bafana's AFCON qualifier with broadcasting details

accreditation

Last month it was widely reported that the public broadcaster will not be allowed to show the national team's games due to a payment dispute with SAFA.

However, Momodu says Bafana's upcoming match at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban will be televised. Kick-off is at 15h00.

"Yes, we will be broadcasting it live on SABC 1, including all of our African language radio stations, as well as Radio 2000," Momodu tells snl24.com/kickoff

Asked how the issue with SAFA was resolved, Momodu says discussions are ongoing with the national football association.

"I don't know if you can call it a problem or a challenge or whatever you wanna call it.

"Discussions between SABC and SAFA, they are still ongoing.

"What is relevant to the SABC at this stage is the fact that they will be getting the game."

SuperSport will also be showing Bafana's match on the weekend.
