"I have enjoyed three amazing years at Djurgarden and learned so much about myself. But the time has come to say goodbye," Motlhalo said in a statement.

"From the beginning, DIF welcomed me with warm hearts and Sweden became my home away from home. I will always appreciate the love and support shown to me by the supporters, as well as the efforts and spirit of my teammates, the coaches, and all the staff.

"Thank you DIF. Vi kommer att ses igen (We will meet again)."

The 22-year-old winger, joined the club in 2020 after previously playing for the likes of Beijing Phoenix in China and with Houston Dash in the United States.

She was also a key member of South Africa's CAF Africa Women's Cup of Nations triumph earlier this year, including a 94th-minute winner against Zambia in the semi-final of the competition.
