Keegan Ritchie netted a sublime free-kick in the second stanza to earn the Clever Boys a point after Hlompho Kekana had given the Brazilians the lead a few minutes earlier.

“You don’t often come here and be disappointed with a draw but I think we’re disappointed with a draw. We had two great opportunities in the first 30 seconds were should have taken them,” Hunt told SuperSport TV.

“We were on the front foot, we had the foot on the game. We gifted them a goal from real sloppiness from the left hand side. Then we scored a beautiful goal but we still had opportunities to play that final ball but we didn’t.

“I’m proud of the players to come back from a 1-0 down against a very good side like this. We have to be proud but I’m disappointed with a draw. Certainly we are.”

The four time league winning coach added that he sees signs of a good team from his charges after the player themselves showed disappointment with a draw against Sundowns.

“You can see the sadness in the face of the players that’s a good sign of a good team. We don’t have good individuals but we got a good team and that’s important,” he said.
