Brazil qualify for 2018 World Cup following victory over Paraguay

The Samba Boys advanced to the finals with four games to spare thanks to goals from Philippe Coutinho, Neymar and Marcelo on Tuesday.

The victory, combined with a 4-1 win over Uruguay last week, sees Brazil open up a nine-point lead over closest rivals Colombia.

The top four South American nations will feature at Russia 2018, with the fifth to contest a play-off with an Oceania opponent.

Brazil - a record five-time world champions - are the only country to compete in every edition of the global showpiece.
