According to Bucs’ communication manager, Mickey Modisane the funeral will start at 10h00 and urged the team’s supporters, especially those from around Venda to support the coach, by attending the funeral.
“We are with our coach during this difficult time and urged our supporters to find way to Venda to give him and his family support.”
Meanwhile, Pirates are still to decide who will lead the team at the Asiphephe Road Safety tournament in Durban this weekend.
The choice is between manager Shakes Mashaba and Augusto Palacios who was recently roped into the team to assist in physical training.
Modisane declined to comment on the issue.
