The Tanzanian club made history last Saturday when they knocked out the former champions 2-1 in Dar es Salaam thanks to a 90th-minute winner from Clatous Chama.
Simba's historic win saw them progress to the knock-out stage of the competition by finishing as runners-up in Group D, while Vita finished last.

However, Constant Omari, a Congolese football administrator and a member of the FIFA Council has reportedly claimed that there's a high probability of an all-DRC quarter-final between TP Mazembe vs AS Vita.
According to Nuhu Adams, an African Sports Journalist of Ghana Soccer Net, Vita have accused Simba of poisoning attempts through toxic fumes in the dressing room and bottles of water duped and have made a complaint to CAF.
Nuhu explained to snl24.com/kickoff, that a formal investigation is underway, while Sports Director and General Manager of TP Mazembe Frederic Kitengie wrote the following on Twitter to spark further speculation.
"The Tanzanian Simba leaders promised to welcome us in transparency. They claim that Vita lied," he wrote, as translated from French.
"But the CAF opened an investigation because Al Ahly had brought the same accusations against the club of Dar es Salaam."

It remains to be seen whether CAF will take further actions on the allegations made against the Tanzanian champions.
