Thabo Nthethe, Teko Modise and Khama Billiat all got the nod for their contribution to Sundowns' 1-0 win over the Egyptian giants that guaranteed them safe passage into the semi-finals of the competition.
The only goal of the game came courtesy of Zamalek defender Ali Gabr who turned the ball into his own net after Percy Tau struck a low cross into the area.
After the game Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane reserved special praise for Modise and Tau - whose cameo off the bench wasn't enough to earn him a spot amongst the Best Eleven.
'Jingles' exclaimed post-match that he was very happy with Modise, a player who only got his chance alongside Hlompho Kekana due to Tiyana Mabunda's suspension.
Meanwhile, Nthethe displayed his usual reliability against a North African opposition desperate to score and Billiat, whilst unable to net a goal, was a constant thorn in the side of Zamalek.
