Khama Billiat being chased by Egyptian duo Al Ahly and Zamalek

According to reports by Zimbabwean newspaper The Herald, the two clubs have already sent agents to South Africa to try entice Sundowns into selling the PSL Player of the Season.

Al Ahly football director Abdul Aziz Abdul Shaffi has tasked an agent named Shady Mostafa El-Tawila to engage The Brazilians on this matter, with Zamalek – against whom Billiat scored in Downs’ recent 2-1 Champions League win - also having tabled an offer.

Sundowns have apparently made it known that they will agree to sell Billiat if the right offer is tabled with their rating of the player standing between R25-R30 million, with reported interest from France, Belgium and China as well.

Zamalek play Sundowns again on Wednesday night at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the reverse fixture of their Champions League group stage tie.
