Sundowns will host Al Ahly on Saturday, April 6 in the first leg of their quarter-final tie but are also pencilled in to play SuperSport in a vital league clash on Sunday, April 7.

The league fixture against SuperSport still needs to be moved to accommodate the Al Ahly match but Sundowns official Alex Shakoane says a new date is yet to be confirmed.

"The date will be announced as soon as everything is finalised with the PSL," Shakoane tells snl24.com/kickoff.

Meanwhile, 'Goldfinger' confirms that their home clash against Al Ahly will take place at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday instead of Friday following a request from the Egyptian side.

"Yes, the [Al Ahly] game has been moved to Saturday and will kick off at 6pm," Shakoane adds.

Sundowns are set to travel to Soweto on Monday to face Orlando Pirates in a league fixture at Orlando Stadium. Kick-off is at 19h30.
