The eight-time champions sent a letter to CAF, requesting that the first leg quarterfinal, initially scheduled for April 5 in Tshwane, be moved to the following day.
Ahly are due to arrive in South Africa on April 4 after playing Ittihad of Alexandria on April 2, so they felt that playing the following day would not be ideal for their preparations.
They need to train on the match venue the day before the game, which will now be played on April 6, reports KingFut.
The second leg, which had initially been scheduled for April 12, will now be played a day later.
All the quarterfinal matches will be played on April 6 and the second leg matches will be on April 13.
