Downs have one foot in the Champions League semi-finals following back-to-back victories over Nigerian side Enyimba and Egyptian giants Zamalek.

While all the PSL teams have enjoyed a few weeks' break, The Brazilians have been hard at work in their African quest following their restoration to the competition due to the disqualification of AS Vita.

Mosimane believes their morale-boosting end to a successful domestic league campaign has helped them maintain a good brand of football on the continent.

"I guess we're riding on the momentum of the league, you know," said 'Jingles'. "We're just flowing with happened in the league.

"I think after the Jomo Cosmos and Polokwane City games we went to Ajax Cape Town, which was very tough for us and it didn't look good - we settled for a point.

"Since then we haven't stopped, even after Tuks, the league was wrapped up but we kept going. We went to Wits and kept on with the momentum.

"We are just in that beautiful whirlpool, where we just keep going. It's a very good dream and I hope we don't wake up. Let's keep dreaming."

The Tshwane side are set to welcome The White Knight for their return leg group B fixture to the Lucas Moripe Stadium next week Wednesday, needing just a solitary point to seal their place in the knockout stages of the competition.
