Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor claims no animosity exists between he and Pitso Mosimane

Disciplinary issues have dogged Laffor of late and he was left out of the Sundowns squad that travelled to ES Setif for a CAF Champions League tie last month after he failed to arrive back on time from a preseason break.

A suspension accompanied his omission from the squad but it was subsequently lifted and the Liberian was handed a fine by the club.

The 31-year-old Laffor insists that such issues are now a thing of the past and his relationship with Mosimane is undamaged.

“No, but the coach and I we don’t have any beef or any issue you know. Things happen in every football team and I’m glad that we handled it professionally and everything is okay,” Laffor says.

The former Supersport United player went on to reiterate his commitment to Masandawana.

“I’m a Sundowns player. I’ve got a contract with Sundowns so I need to do everything that the club wants me to do so I’m committed to Sundowns and I respect the club. I respect every decision the board or the club or the coaches want me to do,” Laffor concludes.
