The rugged Zambian declares that he will continue to throw his utmost efforts in fighting for a place in the team despite the man who recruited him having since parted ways with the club just before the winter break in the Scandinavian country.
Chansa is currently back in his native preparing for the Nations Cup with Chipolopolo while Baxter – the former Bafana coach has also reportedly returned to his homeland.
“Baxter’s departure will not affect my stay at Helsingborgs. I have a two and a half year contract and whichever coach comes to the club, it will not affect my stay,” the temperamental midfielder told the Zambian media at the weekend.
“I just have to earn my place, work hard and be strong to fight for my place in the first team,” Chansa added.
The 23 year-old midfielder left for Sweden in July after featuring for Pirates since the start of the 2004-05 season.
