Chiefs to face PSL DC

Amakhosi fans allegedly threw missiles onto the field of play, protesting against the referee's decisions during the 1-1 draw at the Absa Stadium in Durban on December 5.

Also facing the DC tonight is club coach Muhsin Ertugral, who, according to PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu, used foul and abusive language towards referee Buyile Gqubule during the same game.

Chiefs’ fans have got the club in hot water a couple of times in the last few seasons, and should they be found guilty again, could face a stiffer penalty than the R250 000 suspended fine handed out last October for the same offence.

Chiefs have also been forced to play matches behind closed doors both the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons.
