Chiloane, who finished the campaign with 13 goals, is understood to have agreed to a three-year contract, starting next season.
snl24.com/kickoff has learned that the 25-year-old has been enticed to the Birds’ Nest as a possible replacement for James Chamanga - the leading scorer in the PSL - who could be leaving for Europe after the end of the season.
Alex Bondarenko, Chiloane’s manager, confirms that the forward has already signed a pre-contract with a Johannesburg based PSL team but is reluctant to name the club.
“It is not within my rights to reveal the name of the club and for now Reason has a month remaining on his contract with Garankuwa. When it it runs out, then he cross over to officially become a player with this PSL club,” says Bondarenko.
Since being converted into a striker from a winger by one-time Garankuwa coach Kenny Ndlazi, Chiloane has proved to be dangerous in the box.
Garankuwa admit that they foresaw the departure of Chiloane.
“A player of his calibre is not supposed to be playing in the Vodacom League, let alone in the First Division. It is a positive move for him to play in the PSL as he will get a platform to prove what he can do,” says Garankuwa manager Kingdom Motaung.
