The 24-year-old defender joined Abafana Bes'thende on a free transfer after his contract at Bloemfontein Celtic came to an end last month.
Larsen, who previously work with Jooste at the Free State club, has revealed the reason behind his decision to snap up the Port Elizabeth-born full-back.
"He ended off the season very well; he's at the age where he wants to achieve things, you know.
"He is very versatile and can play on the right wing as well as the right-back position.
"I need to say Wayde is one of the most professional players I've worked with - first on the field and the last one to leave.
"He ticks all the boxes and I'm happy to work with him again."
Larsen is also hoping to add one or two more players to bolster his squad before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
"Last season we were highly inexperienced. With the new acquisitions we should have a bit more experience and depth," he added.
"I'm hoping to sign one or two more players to add to the squad."
