Dipela resigns from PSL

Dipela was accused of sexual harassment by female staff members of the PSL last year.

The statement released by the PSL read as follows:

The National Soccer League and its General Manager of Football, Mr Andrew Dipela, have today concluded an agreement in terms of which allegations of sexual harassment leveled against him have been unconditionally withdrawn and retracted by the league.

Mr Dipela has resigned from the employ of the League with immediate effect and such resignation has been tendered of his own accord and without any acknowledgement of wrong doing on his part.

Mr Dipela has contributed significantly to the success of the league and as such a certain amount of remuneration will be paid to him in acknowledgement of such contribution.
