Ea Lla Koto still to win away this season

accreditation

Kick off is at 15h30.

Hosts Arrows defeated Platinum Stars 2-0 in Rustenburg on Tuesday evening thanks to goals from Abia Nale and Papi Zothwane, sealing just their second away win of the campaign thus far.

Stars were even more impressive in their 4-1 demolition of Santos at Goble Park.

Thulasizwe Mbuyane hit a brace, while Sthembiso Ngcobo and Siyabonga Mdluli also added their names to the score sheet.

Ea Lla Koto have yet to win on the road this season but this match presents them with an opportunity to break that trend.

Arrows have lost three of their seven home games in the league and Stars have already proved they can defeat Abafan Bes'thende, with a 2-0 win over them back in late August 2007 thanks to a brace from striker Diyo Sibisi.

And Stars have the added motivation of chasing the leading pack, although a win for Arrows would actually bring them level with the Free State side.

In head-to-head statistics, Stars have a slight advantage, having won two matches to Arrows’ one in their seven league meetings since 2000/01. In fact, Abafana Bes'thende have not tasted victory against Ea Lla Koto since the first half of 2000/01.
