Eagles will make amends against Mali - Mikel

In a chat with KickOffNigeria.com this week, Mikel said he believed that the Eagles played well against the Ivory Coast but were unlucky not to win the game.

He vowed that the Eagles would stop at nothing to win the match against Mali in order to stay in the competition.

“What happened was that we lost concentration a bit. After the goal things didn’t go right for us. I think we played very well against Ivory Coast until the goal was scored against us and we lost it,” Obi told KickOffNigeria.com.

“We have to go into the next match with a lot of concentration and full of determination and make sure we win," he said.

“I think the most important thing is that we are all together as a team and as a unit. This is what we need to move far in this tournament. Even when we lost our first game to Ivory Coast you could still see that we actually played as a team.”
