The Zimbabwean international midfielder went for a further medical examination yesterday and Amakhosi physio David Milner tells KickOff.com that although the player did not train yesterday, they are keeping their fingers crossed because it appears that Nengomasha is recovering and that he could take the field on Sunday against the Brazilians in Durban.
“We are still assessing him but there is every indication that he will recover in time for the game, especially as we still have until Friday to work on his injury.”
Ertugral confirms that all other players are available for selection.
“My main worry is Nengomasha. However, I have great hope that he will recover in time. If he does not, I still have Jonathan Quartey ready to fill his space. Jonathan has been performing well in the midfield in his recent games.”
