Lille reclaimed second spot in Ligue 1 after securing a narrow 2-1 victory over Olympique Marseille at the Orange Vélodrome.

Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe got the opening goal of the game to take his tally to 15 goals for the season.

Mario Balotelli pulled one back on 90 minutes for Marseille, but Pepe had the final say to secure the win moments later.

Hertha Berlin and Schalke could not be seperated at the Olympiastadion Berlin as they played to a 2-2 draw.

Schalke broke the deadlock through Yevhen Konoplyanka on 17 minutes, before Marko Grujic equalised for the hosts in the 39th minute.

The visitors re-took the lead five minutes later when Mark Uth fired home, while Hertha hit back straight away thanks to Vedad Ibisevic.
