Fans want Zondo back at Celtic

accreditation

Phunya Sele Sele’s Number One supporter Botha Msila confirms this to snl24.com/kickoff and discloses that he, along with other supporters, met with the club’s management yesterday and requested that Zondo, who was relieved of his duties recently, be re-instated.

Msila added that the management had promised to speak to Zondo with the intention of recalling him back to the team.

“We believe that Zondo was treated unfairly by the management in that he was not given enough of a chance to lead the team to greater heights.

“We, as supporters, are demanding that management recall him as soon as possible so that he can continue with his job at Celtic and the feedback from the meeting in this regard was positive,” he adds.

Efforts to contact Zondo to establish whether he was prepared to return to Phunya Sele Sele proved unsuccessful.

Celtic, who are presently under the guidance of Benjamin Reed and David Modise, travel to Pretoria on Saturday to face Mamelodi Sundowns in an Absa Premiership league game at Loftus Stadium.
