In his post match analysis, after South Africa staged a come back to draw one all against Angola in a Group D game last night, Hassan said Senegal and Tunisia, who are also recorded a draw in their match prior to the Bafana game, will qualify from the group.

The ex-Pharaohs’ skipper said Bafana Bafana played a fast and entertaining game and predicted a bright future for South African football starting with the 2010 World Cup.

“Senegal and Tunisia will qualify from the group. Tunisia has a strong team and so has Senegal. South Africa has a good squad, but it lacks experience.”

Hassan, who is Egypt’s most capped player with 170 caps, also praised coach Carlos Alberto Parreira changes in the second half that saw Bafana Bafana dominate play.

“The coach read the game and made two tactical changes. Also the goal that South Africa scored was a gem,” he added.
