Zinedine Zidane’s side cruised to a 3-0 lead after just 37 minutes played thanks to a Marcelo brace and another from Dominican international Mariano Mejia.

Eden Hazard pulled two goals back for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea in the final 10 minutes after Zidane had made 10 changes to his team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Barcelona won 3-1 in their ICC match against Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic. Arda Turan and Munir El Haddadi scored for Barca, who got some help from an Efe Ambrose own-goal.

Leigh Griffiths scored for Celtic, whose manager Brendan Rodgers made 11 second-half changes. Luis Enrique made 10 substitutions, subbing Lionel Messi off at half-time.
