Amajita left for Netherlands on Wednesday for a week-long camp in Europe.

There are 23 days to go before the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup takes place in South Korea.

The pair arrived in Netherlands on Thursday night from Portugal and Spain respectively. Jordan plays for Lisbon-based Sporting CP while Mayo was on trials at Cadiz CF, Spain.

Both players were part of the AFCON squad that qualified for the FIFA World Cup and both boast a good scoring record for Amajita.

Mayo said while he didn’t have a good tournament in Zambia, he is confident of hitting the right form if selected for Korea.

“I have learnt so much while on trial at Cadiz CF and I believe my game has grown immensely in the past few weeks. Being on trial at Cadiz CF has made me realise that I am the master of my own destiny but have to work hard to reap the benefits.

“I have to prove my worth during our stay in Netherlands; I will give my all in training and ensure that the technical team have a good headache when finalising the squad,” said Mayo.
