Mabppé has overtaken Benzema as the youngest player to earn 30 caps for the senior national team after starting their Euro 2020 qualifier against Iceland on Monday.
The 20-year-old is six months younger than the Real Madrid striker was when he reached the landmark nine years ago.
The PSG wonderkid made his debut for Les Bleus in a 3-1 win over Luxembourg in March 2017 before netting his first goal in a World Cup qualifier against the Netherlands in August later that year.
Since then, he's developed into a key figure in manager Didier Deschamps starting XI.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has scored 10 goals in his last 11 national team starts.
