The 22-year-old was unveiled at the Bernabeu after signing a bumper five-year contract with the Spanish giants after a reported £13.7million deal was agreed between PSG and Barca.
Digne caught the eye of Barcelona's scouting team last season after a series of eye-catching displays while on loan with AS Roma. He played 40 times for the Giallorossi last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists from left-back.
The young defender was clearly delighted to be joining the Catalans and had some lofty praise for his new club.
"This is the greatest club in the world, it's the start of a big adventure for me," the player said at his unveiling. "I think this is the perfect club to evolve and to stay for a long time."
Digne was part of the France squad that finished runners-up at the recently concluded European Championship after they lost 1-0 to Portugal in the final, but he did not feature on the pitch for Didier Deschamps' side.
When asked about the prospect of playing alongside world class football stars such as Neymar and Lionel Messi, Digne responded confidently saying it would make him a better player.
"It's an extra motivation and it'll help me make enormous progress," he concluded.
