Maduka’s contract with Phunya Sele Sele is set to expire at the end of the season and the man who has served the team with distinction for the past few seasons, has not been invited by management to negotiate a new deal.
“They told me that they would call me to discuss it a long time ago, but up until now I haven’t heard anything.
“I have enjoyed my stay at Celtic and wouldn’t mind staying with the team, however that will depend if I agree to the offer that they would put on the table.”
The Malawian international, who will turn 38 in September, is not sure when he will hang up his boots.
“As long as my legs carry me, I will keep on playing. But one thing is for sure; I want to retire when fans still love me.”
