Maritzburg United centre-back Clayton Daniels has explained why most of the so-called small clubs' players are finding it easy to go pound for pound with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates stars but look nervous every time they face Mame

"Sundowns they have the upper hand in terms of the experience they have in the squad you know,” Daniels tells

“They're playing in Africa, they know about game management, they know about how to control the tempo of the game and sometimes it can derail the opposition you know because when they lead 1-0 they keep the ball the whole time.

"They shut you out of your position, out of your structure, now you get desperate and you open up again for them. That's how they punish you."

The Team Of Choice are hosting the league favourites at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday at 19:30, and it is no secret that they will be looking to cause an upset.

Daniels says everybody at the club knows they might be dragged down to the relegation zone if they don't win tomorrow.

"Strangely enough we are a very competitive team it's just, unfortunately, the lapse of concentration and the odd goal against the run of play, because we are desperate for points.

"We are competing and we are ready to fight, that's what you can expect.

"Very, very high on confidence this Sundowns team and very humble in their approach, they are a very good team.

"But believe me we have our own battle to fight, we're not going to make it easy for them.

"A win will just ease the pressure a little bit for us, if we compete, cut out the silly mistakes at the back, we will have a chance to win the game.

"We are going for the points you know, how are we going to get it? It's going to be ugly, it's going to be a fight."
