Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi is set for a blockbuster showdown against global superstar Lionel Messi in the Argentinian's much-anticipated PSG debut.
Munetsi' Stade Reims go up against Paris Saint Germain this Sunday, with the Argentine expected to make his debut after a much-publicised transfer from FC Barcelona.
The former Orlando Pirates, Baroka and FC Cape Town man is expected to start as he has previously done in the first three league matches.
All 21 000 tickets at the Stade Auguste-Delaune were immediately sold out when it was suggested that Messi would feature, which had initially only sold just 6000 tickets.
Reims have drawn all of their three opening matches with Munesti registering a goal in their previous match against FC Metz.
The 25-year-old spent a season with FC Cape Town before moving to Orlando Pirates where he was initially loaned to Baroka before returning to spend two years before leaving for France in 2019.
Following the PSG clash, Munetsi will immediately fly out to Harare to feature for The Warriors against Bafana Bafana in a World Cup qualifier.
