The Amaglug-glug striker was hospitalised after his car, a Peugeot 203, and a bakkie were in a collision.
Speaking to snl24.com/kickoff yesterday, Masilela said doctors had advised him to stay away from football activities for the next six months.
“I can’t recall exactly what happened in the accident; I only remember finding myself in hospital. I still feel pain in my legs and other parts of my body, but I am now able to get around on crutches.
“I had hoped to start pre-season with SuperSport after my loan deal from Tuks, but now I will miss the action. As soon as I have recovered, I will put my focus on impressing the technical team so that I can make the playing squad.”
