The 36 year-old, who started off at Orlando Pirates then went down to Moroka Swallows before moving to Classic then back to Birds, Chiefs, Zulu Royals, Black Leopards and finishing off at Jomo Cosmos, is now a joint coach at the Zeerust based club which is currently in third position.
“Our aim is go straight to the play-offs,” declares Matshitse who joined the club this season after calling it quits at Ezenkosi Jomo last season.
“We have a squad capable of challenging for honours in this league and we will prove our qualities in this crucial second round. I take pride at being at this club because I was once played here during the time when I was at college studying to be a teacher.
“We have players who have previously played in higher leagues like Shasha and Majola (ex-Dynamos) along with youngsters who are eager to get there. That blend will work the magic, while I will also be making my contribution from the bench; adding all the expertise that I picked in my playing days.
“I am also keeping fit by training with the team,” he says.
