According to Sportmediaset, the Argentine international will end a month-long exile from the club and avail himself for their next encounter against Lazio on March 31st.

Icardi has not played for the club since being stripped off the captaincy on February 13th, a day before their UEFA Europa League trip to Rapid Vienna.

Incidentally, his absence coincided with nursing a knee injury, with reports claiming he has now finished the treatment issued by the club and looks to reappear since February 9th.

Two weeks ago, the club entered into ‘friendly talks’ with the player and his agent-wife Wanda Nara to iron out any differences between the two parties.

His absence has not been greatly felt though, with fellow countrymen Lautaro Martinez coming to the fore with key goals and assists.

The 26-year-old’s time with the Italians has brought home 122 goals from 210 official matches since joining from Sampdoria in July 2013.

Performances in recent seasons have been met with wide interest from Real Madrid, Chelsea, FC Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus.
