Moriri is among a number of players at Sundowns whose contracts have not yet renewed, but the Bafana Bafana star says he is hoping to reach an agreement with club boss Patrice Motsepe on a new deal and promises to put his signature on the dotted line soon.

“Sundowns have treated very well, so why should I leave the team? I won’t leave Sundowns for another local team but I would consider an overseas move.

“We are still involved in negotiations and hopefully everything will be finalised soon.”

Downs defender Vuyo Mere whose contract with the team was set to expire in June has already penned down his signature for another three years with the Brazilians.

Ezrom Nyandoro, Benson Mhlongo, Godfrey Sapula, Oscar Ntwagae and Michael Manzini are among those still waiting to hear whether they will be on Motsepe’s payroll next season as their contracts also expire in June.
