Former youth international forward Rodney Ramagalela is back in domestic football after experiencing difficult times with injury and personal tragedy.
Ramagalela joined Chippa United at the beginning of last season but never played for the club due to injury struggles despite training with the club at their base in Gqeberha.

It was also last season that the 33-year-old suffered the misfortune of having his house burn down to ashes which left him mentally strained having also lost his mother and daughter in recent years.
Without minutes at Chippa it meant the last time he played football was in May last year in his second spell with Black Leopards as the club was relegated yet again.
Past all the challenges that he has faced, Ramagalela has now inked a deal with University of Pretoria in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
He initially arrived at the club for an assessment last month but has since made enough of an impression to win a deal.
TUKS – who are seeking firepower upfront with the aim of pushing for a top three place – have also brought back Thokozani Sekotlong.
Sekotlong (31) previously played for TUKS and just like Ramagalela he was last on the books of Chippa United.
He last played in May and will widen the attacking options for the club while bringing experience having been with Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards before just like Ramagalela.
