Manyisa spent the past season at Platinum City Rovers in the NFD (now known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship) following the end of his 13-year stay in the PSL which earned him legendary status at Orlando Pirates before moving to Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United.
At Pirates, he remains celebrated after spending almost a decade winning all trophies on offer in domestic football.
He has now returned to the same club for pre-season and has been sweating with them in the south of Johannesburg this week ahead of the start of the new campaign in September.
Manyisa turns 34 next week.
In his first season with Rovers, last term Manyisa managed 18 league appearances plus three in the Nedbank Cup leaving enough of an impression to be recalled back.
His leadership has been applauded.
Also, training with Rovers is veteran forward Lerato Lamola following the expiry of his contract at Marumo Gallants.
Lamola is set to be joined by Joseph Mhlongo who has spent the past two seasons with Swallows FC.
