News reaching KickOff.com is that Platinum City Rovers have finally managed to convince veteran attacker Lerato 'Malume' Lamola to return to training.

Lamola arrived at the Motsepe Foundation Championship side at the beginning of the season but soon decided to stop training after the club could not keep its promise.

Apparently, the club could not provide proper accommodation for the player and instead wanted him to share his place with youngsters.

The club was also accused of failing to pay Lamola his signing-on fee and salaries.

"How can you expect five players to share a room?

"Imagine an old person like Lamola sharing a bed with a young boy.

"One room where you sleep in two's in a lodge." Said a source at the time.

According to a source, Rovers failed to pay Lamola his salaries which led to the player asking for his clearance.

At the time club chairman Tyzer Tlou rubbished the rumour.

But it seems now the club has finally ironed out their differences with their player.

Today an insider contacted KickOff .com to break the news.

"Lamola is back on the ground, did you know?

"He has returned to Platinum City Rovers, it's been a month now."

Before the FIFA World Cup break, the former Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows and Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC striker had featured only three times for Rovers.

Rovers chairman Tlou could not be reached on his phone.
