The new Bakgakga technical team will see the addition of Job Monatse as an assistant coach to Moloi.
TUT Sports manager, Enock Mudau confirmed Moloi's appointment at Baroka.
"Mr Moloi has been recommended for a leadership role with Baroka FC for a period of five months," Mudau said.
"We wish him all the best and we hope that he will come back and share his experience when he returns to TUT."
Baroka has left the option open for which direction to head at the end of the season as the club aims to gain eventual promotion to the DStv Premiership.
Moloi remains the only coach to lift the Varsity Football Cup on three occasions with TUT in the varsity football tournament's history.
