Orlando Pirates striker Erasmus targets clinical display against Moroka Swallows

Pirates enter the derby with confidence following their 2-1 win over SuperSport United in the MTN8 quarter-finals this past weekend, with Erasmus netting with a deft chip at Orlando Stadium.

Erasmus told his club's website: “It is a great way to start (the season) because I think now I have something to build on. Going to the next match the objective has to be obviously to score again and help the team win.

“It is not a bad start for me; I scored once and got into nice positions (against United) to score which is a real positive thing since it is only our first match,” he added.

“We will prepare much better and try to put away the chances we create. It is not good enough to score one goal when I could have maybe scored two or more, but like I said, it is our first game. Maybe we need to get our rhythm going first, so that we are more clinical upfront,” concluded the South Africa international.
