Kaizer Chiefs 3-5 Bidvest Wits

Kaizer Chiefs’ chances of defending their MultiChoice Diski Shield crown took a severe knock after being hammered 5-3 by Bidvest Wits in Group A on Sunday afternoon at Dobsonville Stadium.

A hat-trick from Sizwe Twala for Amakhosi was not enough to avoid defeat as the Clever Boys ran rampant to register their first victory in the tournament.
Chiefs dropped to third on the mini-log with three points, equal on points with second placed Wits who have a slightly better goal difference.

Only top teams in the group go through to the next round.
