However, Mwape is still training with Cosmos while waiting on club boss Jomo Sono to inform him about his future.
“I am still here at Cosmos training with the club though I have not been registered. I am basically waiting for Jomo to inform me about what will happen next. I have no qualms about anything because I respect every decision taken by Jomo.
“He (Jomo) personally told me that he will not register me as he has lined up something for me. I know that something will happen for me as Jomo is in talks with other people,” says Mwape, who has recently been linked to Coastal Stream side Nathi Lions.
Though not on the playing list as yet, Cosmos can still register Mwape as they still have one foreign space open.
The big striker played at Ezenkosi last season when the club was still in the PSL, having arrived towards the end of the previous season from the then-strife torn FC AK.
Mwape initially played for Orlando Pirates during the 2005-06 season, but was discarded at the end of the season after failing to make an impression.
