Nathi Lions' players injured in crash

The car collided with another one before losing control and rolling many times.

Lions’ manager Joshua Ndwandwe confirmed to Kick Off yesterday that Sandile Gumede, Mandla Nxumalo, Lungelo Makhanya and Ntuthuko Dlamini are still in the King Edward Hospital in Durban.

Nwandwe said that Nxumalo broke a leg in the crash but that all the players are in a stable condition.

“The accident happened near Clairwood and the car was a total write-off. We thank the Almighty God that they are alive and we pray that they recover soon.”
