accreditation

Makhubedu criticised Amakhosi's performance after his third-tier side lost 2-1 to the Soweto giants in a Nedbank Cup last-16 tie at Kabokweni Stadium on Sunday - much to the annoyance of Chiefs counterpart Steve Komphela.

Makhubedu told this website on Tuesday he was overcome with emotions when he took aim at the Glamour Boys due to his unhappiness with how the game was handled.

Acornbush have since posted a letter on Twitter in his name, which reads: 'Dear all

'I (Macdonald Makhubedu, Head Coach) would like to share my sincere apologies for my post-match interview comments against Kaizer Chiefs, SAFA, NSL, Nedbank, Media, Steve Khompela (sic), Kaizer Chiefs technical team and football supporters. I might have made the comments at the time not realising the damage I am causing to everyone. My behaviour was extremely inappropriate, immature, and lacked the respect you deserve.

'Hence I request you to accept my sincere apologies. I hope that we can put this matter behind us. I look forward to work with you and learning again.

'Regards

'M. Makhubedu
HEAD COACH
