Stars will host Pirates in the last-16 of the Nedbank Cup at James Motlatsi Stadium (20h15), having beaten Bucs 3-2 in the league at the same venue last weekend.
“It’s not going to be easy match having played them the past weekend. I am sure they have gone back to the drawing board to rectify their mistakes,” Masehe told his club's website.
“To be honest as much as we are focusing on the league, we also want to at least go as far as we can in the Nedbank Cup.
“If one goes back to last season they knocked us out of the semi-final in the very same cup. The game on Saturday will be sort of some ‘revenge’ in a way.
“The games are coming in thick and fast and we need to focus and one hopes that the guys will take the past weekend league’s performance into the cup match. It’s been a while since we last tasted the cup victory.”
Ea Lla Koto coach Serame Letsoaka is without Allen Nono, Thokozane Sekotlong and Nyiko Tshabangu, while Masehe is doubtful, according to club physiotherapist Ryan Coert.
